Art & AIDS: Perceptions of Life displays the feelings and emotions from newly diagnosed, long-time survivors and from some artists who participated on Art & AIDS exhibitions, who are no longer with us. The exhibition captures feelings and emotions associated with HIV/AIDS; isolation, fear, stigma, faith, death, religion, spirituality as well as beauty, nature, love, life and social imagery as artists evolve and continue living with HIV/AIDS. Art & AIDS artists have come to Gay Men's Health Crisis (GMHC) at some point after learning of their HIV/AIDS diagnosis looking for help and support dealing with their new reality.
